Circus Circus Review

November 21, 2016

In case you forget the name of the hotel, it actually tells you twice.  Circus Circus is a Casino resort found in the gambling capital of Las Vegas.  Movies show this city as a place where the American dream can come true – well if you win big that is.  Either way, you will need somewhere to stay and why not stay at a hotel with a theme park.

Location:  Las Vegas, USA.

Date of Stay: September, 2016.

Price Range: USD$24-$45 + $23 resort tax per night

  • Large rooms

  • Free Wi-Fi

  • Comfy beds

  • Shuttle stop out front

  • Cheap for a strip hotel

  • Located at the Northern part of the strip by itself

  • Was next to a construction site

  • The hotel casino is showing its age with old carpet and machines

  • Smoking is allowed on the Casino floor

Final Thoughts

The hotel was good value.  It wasn’t expensive and the amenities needed for a first time Vegas trip were mostly there.  Ask for a room on the higher levels, this way you can have a good view of the strip at night.  The next time I would be staying in Las Vegas though, I would choose somewhere closer to the main part of the strip and in turn closer to the shows at other Casinos.  If you want to visit the old Las Vegas, look for some accommodation near Freemont Street.
