Hotel Air Suites Review

September 27, 2016

As we were transiting in Guayaquil before heading to the Galapagos Islands, we needed somewhere close to the airport.   The Hotel Air Suites provided a great base for a short stay.  It is located only a few blocks away from the terminal and cost $4 or $5 USD in a taxi.  The hotel is basicbut does have some extra's to make the short stay worth while.

Pro’s

  • Close to airport

  • Large rooms

  • Free Wi-Fi

  • Comfy beds

Con’s

  • Not a great location if you are visiting for more than one night

Final Thoughts

The Hotel Air Suites was a cheap and secure place to stay for our 8 hours we needed to fill in Guayaquil.  The employees are very helpful and polite which was nice to have after a day of travelling.  The rooms were a good size and had air conditioning to cool the room.  Breakfast was simple with toast, ham, eggs, cheese and coffee but what a relief instead of airplane food.  I would probably not stay at this hotel if you were visiting Guayaquil for an extended period of time, however for a transit hotel it was a good choice.
